New trans and results

I got my 700r4 built by Ziggy's in today. So far im pretty pleased...the stall speed (i chose it) will take some getting used to, as its a 3000 stall. The thing shifts well right now, but i havent gone WOT with it because he told me if im gonna be doin that i had better shift it manually...and well...i cant do that because my stock shifter likes to make a 1-3 jump instead of a 1-2. still looking into ratchet shifters for that.

the new governor in the thing makes it feel kinda weird...if i dont shift it, it seems like itd hold every gear forever if i went wide open...little bit of a weird feeling.

any questions/comments/suggestions?

Im pretty sure thats just a 700R4 thing, I forget because I havent had/driven one in years, but I remember it from stuff I read.

Defenitly go with the B&M Mega-Shifter, for the manual shifting. I loved that thing, it was one of the most fun things in my old car. Smooth operation with a great grip.

i was going to...but heard too many mixed reviews...ie "oh its great" "no that thing sucks" and Ziggy himself said they're "mega pieces of ****"...so i ended up just ordering a Hurst quarter stick...
