ATTN : TOMS RIVER. CANCELLED PERMANENTLY!!

Yeah. Last night (6/24) Saint, LS1Kid, F8L and I were in Toms River. We were at the small wawa like usual. We saw a cop comming around the corner so we all walked inside. We notice the cop blocking the 3 cars and walk outside after making our purchases. turns out that TRPD is making a list. If your loitering your plate is put on a list. If you are caught withing one year of loitering again, your car gets impounded for 3 days and you get a fine.

Just thought id give a heads up.

BigAls87Z28 06-25-2005 11:04 AM

So lets say that you live near by. If you stop by in your nice car, and they take down your plate, and then the next day, week, month, you go back to Wawa to get something, and the cops are there...they can Impound your car?

********. Its scare tactics from the cops.

NJSPEEDER 06-25-2005 11:11 AM

loitering is a ticket that is conditional to the time it is given.
also, the property owner or an active renter of teh property must call in a complaint. it can't just be a cop driving by who sees you talking/standing there.

i woudl go back, let them give you the ticket if they want. all you have to do is show up to court with receipts from your purchases to show you are a customer of the wawa.

later
tim

any new meeting spots?

F8L WS6 06-25-2005 03:24 PM

I wouldn't say permanent but it was really desolate out last night none the less. I take it they've been giving everyone the same talk. I didn't see barely anyone out or hanging out any place.

Apparently it's if they pass you and you are standing there and they make a round and come back and see you still standing around then they are "allowed" to do whatever it is. Which what he said was impounding your car for 3 days and tickets and this and that. And we did go into the Wawa and buy stuff anyway. I didn't really think they could do all that just for us standing around. And everytime we are there everyone goes into the Wawa or wherever and buys stuff.

The extra BS about last night was only the 3 of us got a talking to when the guys across the lot from us were there the same time we were and they were left alone. The cop also had a problem with Saint's "Camaro" :hammer:

i definately want to do something tonight. The car's clean has gas and is ready to go. Anyone else want to do something? I know a bunch of people hang out at the Sheetz in Whitehall, PA off Rt 22 just east of allentown pa. It's kind of far though.

ShitOnWheels 06-25-2005 04:46 PM

jimmyboy8301 06-25-2005 05:42 PM

holy crap thats far especially after drinking a few.

BigAls87Z28 06-25-2005 07:31 PM

Ok, new plan.
There is a new meeting spot. We will no longer be meeting on 37. We will be meeting at the bus depot that is right off the parkway. If anyone wants to do anything, meet up at the little wawa tonight, and we can cruse on over to the bus depot. That was the old hang out till the rice rockets started tearing it up and ****ing around. Dover and other local police dont care if we go there. Its a large lot, and we are away from everything on 37.
So be there at 11, and from there we shall cruse to the bus depot.
If you need to contact me, leave an IM on my computer at this SN, or look for the contact list and call my cellphone.

jimmyboy8301 06-25-2005 07:42 PM
