How hard is it to do a heatercore 4th gen TA??

The Heater core blew today. The carpet is wasted. How much of a pain is it to do the heater core and how much $$$?

its probally a big pain in the ass.... im pretty sure you have to pull the dash and it is going to be a bit expensive... in the mean time you can bypass the core using the hose.. but you obviously wont have heat.. if i was home on the weekends i would say id give u a hand doing it but i wont be able to do it until the fall

I've had the dash out on my bird....

Kinda a PITA.

I was armed with my chiltons manual.... took some time though.

Didn't remove the heatrer core though... so I don't know fully the difficulty rating

I looked it up on the repair program at work today n it said like 3 hours n thats it. I gotta push the sides of the compartment ion n that comes out, unscrew the core cover n its right there. I looked the core up too n it was like $180.
