It ran a best of 14.06@98.8 in the 1/4.

Now, this car isn't worth $3400. I checked KBB, and even if the car had the highest-grade options and was in "excellent" condition, it'd still be $1000 less than his asking price. the owner's reasoning for the price is "With its rarity, content, and performance potential, I feel it’s worth it. Plus, try to buy a new Firebird….you cant."

i've asked if he's willing to come down on the price. if so, this could be a good find.

looks good + hes got a decent amount of mods in it, not to say its worth that but still not bad.

jims69camaro 08-24-2005 02:59 PM

if you don't buy it, let me know where it is so i can go look at it. :D

GP99GT 08-24-2005 03:04 PM

so why would your mom approve of this one over the other one?

NJSPEEDER 08-24-2005 03:04 PM

from teh pics it is a good looking car. i think teh price may be a little bit high. i woudl say fair for a car in good shape with that kind of mileage is closer to 3000, but that is something you coudl prolly work on.
only thing i would do is get that 300+ ignition box and go back to teh stock set up.

Hardtop.....good call. Only down fall, if the A/C don't work you'll bake in that car! just like i do in mine. Other than that.....nice looking car

jims69camaro 08-24-2005 03:11 PM

why put the screen in if you aren't going to re-route the intake to take advantage of it? Â*it needs a good detail and the screen needs a coat of paint, too.

ar0ck 08-24-2005 03:27 PM

What makes you think your parents will let you get this over the T/A?

Its the same style car, and its kinda obvious they wont let you have another like it.

Ian 08-24-2005 05:32 PM

very nice car. good luck getting the rents to agree on it though :?

Koll 08-24-2005 06:14 PM

Would you just get another car already. Im tired of seeing these threads.

skorpion317 08-24-2005 09:13 PM

it's not the problem of my parents not wanting me to get the car. it's my mom. my dad is all for it. i'm kinda hoping we're just gonna go over her head and get the car anyway. we'll see what happens.

as for the hood screen, i would assume it's for heat extraction.

taps impatiently on the monitor... hello?!?

enRo 09-05-2005 05:28 PM

Well, unless he didnt get it, its for sale over on TGO. Looks very clean

skorpion317 09-05-2005 05:55 PM

it's still for sale....i haven't bothered talking to my parents about it. we had this whole big discussion about money and whatnot. I owe them a total of $730, which should be paid off in the next few weeks. After that's paid off, then i can start saving money for another car. At the rate i get paid, though, i shouldn't bother with money for a car. I should just put it to use for whatever I need at the moment. I'll wait till i'm out of school, and making real money, to a get a car (which will be an '02 SS or Z28.)
