holy fack...that was badass

skorpion317 09-01-2005 12:45 PM

that's a big friggin octopus. that shark was about 4-5 feet long, so the octupus was probably about 7-8 feet in length.

damn and i thought that sharks had no natural enemies (aka every one is a big pussy to mess with one.) i wanna see a great white vs biggest octopus they got

That was pretty cool. Although I'd like to know why the shark seemingly gave up. Was there venom involved?

octopi are very strong, and some do have a poisonous bite. they have large beaks that can tear chunks of flesh off as well.

yea, i did a book report on them in like 4th grade. i think that the smaller the octopus, the more potent the venom, but i could be lying. i don't remember too well.

the blue-ringed octopus is the most poisonous. it's a decent-sized octopus, lives in tropical waters.

Much like the Giant squid. THere is bound to be a giant octopus. They have records of dead (great whites) nonetheless with suckers the size od basketballs.
