I hope its not a repeat of the 70's with guys selling muscle cars to get economy ones!

NJSPEEDER 09-06-2005 07:29 PM

the weak minded and weak hearted will always find an excuse. i have already seen a few fresh for sale signs on those huge SUV's as i drive around. i am sure the f-bodies aren't far behind.
the nice thing to those of us who are genuine enthusiasts is that we will son be able to pick up the cars we love for pennies on the dollar. :)

True - in the late 70's a 67-69 Camaro went cheap. Now they're an investment!

*starts saving*

bad64chevelle 09-07-2005 10:23 AM

The Camaro gets ~21 MPG So I wont be selling

The Chevelle gets 10 MPG And I would have to die before I sold it.

jims69camaro 09-08-2005 08:59 AM

i'm not sure what kind of mileage i'm getting with the camaro. it's not tuned, so it may be drinking more than necessary. i know it cost $75 to fill it with premium, which is outrageous.
