smog and Ac
 
i just got LT Headers for my Firebird and i wanna remove the smog pump and AC compressor while im at it (its not hooked up anyway) i know ill need a new serp belt but is there anything else that ill need? and how hard is it? can i just disconnect the wires going to the compressor and pull all the lines out? and same for the smog pump?

are you getting the a/c delete pulley?

If i can remember how johnjj2 from tgo did it, you would have to relocate the alternator to where the smog pump is right now to do the short belt. I think he also made his tensioner pull the other way by taking it apart. I forget.

Id keep the compressor on for now till you get the delete pulley.
