not news, but a confirmation (been-hiding)
Osama Been Hiding
we knew where he was, and who let him escape. this is merely confirmation of that event. now what we need is some intelligence on where he is now and send a SEAL team in to take him out. dammit. |
 He needs to die and when they catch him i don't even think they should "arrest" him like they did to saddam. I mean yeah they beat the **** outta saddam but....i say you just straight up kill his monkey ass and call it a day. It'll never end with this whole terrorist **** its like trying to put out a fire with gas. It's a lose-lose situation.
|
While his death is warranted, a big public display will only give renewed purpose to those people. A SEAL team, with one well placed bullet, could end it all very quietly, very permenantly, without sending the Islamic world up in arms. Let the rest of the world think he's still running around out there.
|
he has too much money to be cought in a corrupt contry...
|
Unfortunately no matter how we kill him, those people will make him a martyr.

I hope to god they find him and have an accidental "Trigger Slip" To bring him around Alive would cause a international **** storm, and the instant he gets on TV he will spew is propganda and all that jazz. I just say end it nice and clean, and broadcast the images of his body all over the world.
|
Find him
Pop a couple rounds in him Keep him alive Bring him to us |
Insult him on TV and watch the sympathetics come out... easier targets when they're in the streets shouting and bitching. It gets them away from their human shields which lowers collateral damages. I see it as a win win situation keeping him alive... for a while.
God bless the snipers and God bless that their snipers can't aim (when they hit that medic in the body armor who later treated his assasins for wounds, very cool story and video). |
Cant be that hard to find a group of people in the desert riding camels and having one hooked upto a dyalisasis machine (sp?)
|
So you kill him then what? Remember "war on drugs" and how everyone tryed to kill Pablo Escobar, you did eventually but damn i can still buy cocaine!!! Â*
Someone wil just t ake his place, and you wont kill them all. |
That's the problem with the "War on Terror." It's going to be a never ending battle. You kill one, another takes his place. It's a never-ending cycle, but on the flip side, it's also something that has to be done because we can't just sit back at idle letting things happen.
Personally I say turn the who middle east into a glass parking lot. There's a reason there's so much turmoil over there. It sucks. If I lived in such a sucky place, I'd probably be pissed off at the rest of the world too. You don't find people in more amicable areas starting wars, do you?? (this was a joking paragraph btw). |
You have to get rid of Bin Laden because he's rich and has access to money to finance terror. Someone else may take his place, but if they don't have the money or resources it will hurt the terror effort.

Taking out Osama would bring a close to a bad chapter for a lot of people. It may not end the "war," but it will at least bring closure and maybe some peace could be brought to the families of all his victims.
And I never think "killing 'em all" is a bad idea! |

It's just that i was having almost the same argument with some other people and they seem to believe that killing Bin Laden will somehow resolve the whole terrorist issue. I guess they just cant comprehend that there're hundreds of groups just like Al-qeada, and they are just as ruthless. But i guess some people are just naturally dumb and i can't really help them  |

If i go....its bound to happen to all of us so whatever. |
All I will say is, killing Bin Laden could go either way. If done right it can at least cut the American deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan (don't forget about our boys there). But more likely is that it will not make it any better, because the media WILL publicize the images, and Arabic media WILL publicize them in an anti-American manner. This will bring up more hatred from the RADICAL middle east (NOT ALL OF THEM ARE ANTI-AMERICAN TERRORISTS) and could rally more to their cause... but whatever. Once Bush is out of office things will look up, especially considering that we won't have someone running the country who benifits from oil sales.
