Recommended Places for PROM + Flexplate

Any good places in the north jersey area that'll do PROM tuning and a flexplate? 2 places will work, but I'm really pushing to have fun with this car before God flakes his dandruff all across new jersey :-/

i can do a flexplate, but i have no OBDII tuning equipment.

talk to bill (foff667) about tuning. the flywheel is a pretty easy job, if I wasnt so far away, I'd offer to do it too but I'll let pat get some experience under his belt

he said "with this car", i'm assuming he means the LS1.

if it's for the Formula, I'd be happy to do tuning as well.

The Formula's VIN # for reference is:
1G2FS21E5JL217784

The engine is out of an 87 Formula with an LB9 (5.0L 305 TPI) with a 700r4 and the POSI gears are still unknown ATM

Any more questions lemme know.... other than that, thats all the #'s i can find on the module. If someone in the area knows how to count teeth (ON THE GEARS) and wants to give me a hand doing so, that'll be greatly appreciated ;-)

Savage_Messiah 09-29-2005 03:26 PM

ill give you a hand, but you either need to come out my way or wait till after oct 7

enRo 09-29-2005 03:32 PM

Nice... now i dont have to jack the car up, yeah... just walk under there and count the teeth please

:j/k: Well without me knowing what the gears are, i cant get it tuned, maybe someone in the area can give me a hand. Thanks for the offer tho :-P

skorpion317 09-29-2005 10:22 PM

i can do it, i might as well while i have the trans unbolted to put the flexplate in. once i find out the number of teeth, it shouldn't be too hard from there.
