how are you using smileys, they dont appear to be on the right side of the Message box, wtf? damn it i want smileys!

They do for me. But even if they don't, some of the smileys can be made using the smi-colon/colon and parenthesis.

They don't appear next to the quick reply box....yet. I'm working on that part. You can always click the reply button to see the smilies, or like genie said you can use text to create them like this:

:lol: = : lol : (with no spaces)

i wasnt talking about the quick reply box, i mean i have no smileys anywhere, ill attach a print screen so you can see for yourself.

alright stupid photobucket resized it but as you can see no smileys on the right, am i missing something?

Hard to tell from the pic, but what browser/version are you running? I haven't had a problem with smilies not showing up since about 2 am when I rebuilt the smilie database.

Anyone else having this problem?

Go into UserCP, Edit Options, and chance your text reply box to standard...I didn't see it before I changed it, but I have them on the side after I changed it.

No genie....he means that smilies are not even appearing in posts for him. Look at the screen print...no smilie in my post.

Oh, the screenshot looks like the text reply box, not a post, so I assumed that's what he meant.

Alright i did what Genie said and it works now. Sorry for the newbness
