Struck big! Found another garbage pick ahahah
So lately, Ive been striking it big at work (Im a garbage man :-P ) ... Last month, I got a fully functional PS2 (eject button was stuck, fixed it and sold it for $60), a couple weeks ago I got a P4 Toshiba Laptop (still have it, runs perfect), an early 60's 327 OEM intake manifold (have an offer of $150 for it), and yesterday was one of my best finds yet... a AMD 2800+ Emachines computer desktop  Everything was still in there and it looked like it just came off of the display. I figured something was definately wrong with it... has a 120GB H/D, 512MB DDR, Geforce4 (integrated :-/ ) , and a bunch of other crap. What was the problem? I dunno if this coulda been it or what, but the hard drive wasnt getting juice.... I unplugged the power cord to inspect the hard drive, and plugged in a different cord by accident, and boom, fired right up with no problems  Even tho eMachines has a bad rep, I can still prolly get between $350 and $450 for it after a fresh install of XP and a cleanjob.

I would spend a lot of time going through all the files from the people.

Best ive got : Dell Trinitron monitor, Pioneer SX-434 Receiver. |
Not to mention Ive also found a ****load of stuff over the course of almost 3 years. Engine Stand, Carbs, Subwoofers, Hard Drives, 256MB + 512MB RAM chips, a couple Xbox's, alot of NES, SNES, SEGA, and PS1 consoles + games (which I exchanged at GameStop for money, about $400 worth) . And one of the guys I work with collects copper to take it to a place to cash in. It's usually like 50 - 70 cents a pound... he went to cash in last week and got $10,500+ ... he bought himself a new Ford F-150 on Thursday.
Thats just what I can think off the top of my head. There were a lot more **** I've found lol **Oh yea not to mention, the 20" monitor I sold to Justin was a garbage pick too :-D I have another one here, but its alot lighter hehehe** |

Update: After browsing the computer and the pictures that were on the Hard Drive for over an hour, I can safely say......
LOL!!! Im not a religious hater or anything, but isnt it ironic when a "jew" throws out a computer? This young female (ugly btw so dont ask for photos) , had about a gig of pictures of dancing, proms, graduation from WCC (i dunno wtf that is), and of course.... her Channakauh Wish List which was none other than "#2 : New Computer" LOOOOOOL Since I dont have the original Emachines 3-disk restoration which deletes all the C drive and installs a fresh Windows XP with Nortons, etc... and this comp has NO 3 1/2 Floppy drive, it makes it almost impossible to format the comp, unless I got a new hard drive. The XP CD i have is copied and requires a special "Boot Disk" aka a 3 1/2 Floppy disk.... so Im ****ed ATM ... other than that, it all works great :-D |
were there any pics of any hot chicks?
|
yea post some pics...

Also if you were closer id say get my XP CD. Its an OEM ver. so no floppy needed |
Well, I got someone coming over tonight with a disk thatll wipe the entire system... eveerrrrything, I even think the BIOS gets wiped and replaced with a better one, not too sure tho.
|
nah i doubt it will erase the BIOS, if the BIOS gets erased your ****ed. but there is a way that you can reflash the BIOS. what your friend has prolly just wipes the drives (partition tables and MBR).
