More Fuggin' Snow
how much this time? lucky me, trenton is on the edge of all the weather maps. my home town now divides start shoveling and don't bother til april on the weather map. yippy!!!!
the local weather reports have now extended their guessing range from 2inches to 9inches(tell me that doesn't sound like the opening scene in a porno). these nit wits are jsut hoping for the best when it comes to predicting the weather. maybe they are working together. each one makes a different guess and then there is no way they can all be wrong. either that or they are jsut throwing darts at a crayon'ed up table cloth on their cubicle wall. IDK!?!?! |
damn it and i just detailed my car...at least i got paid for it!

they did say 2-6 before... now weather.com says 2-4
|
2-6 is what I heard for my area, but the number is getting lower & lower as the night goes on, since theirs no sign of snow as they predicted.
|
it is snowing nice a steady here, just like it has for the last 4hours
|
We'll be lucky to get 2" from this.

Here's the latest updated from the NWS.
/O.CAN.KPHI.SN.Y.0003.000000T0000Z-051206T1200Z/ MORRIS-HUNTERDON-SOMERSET-MIDDLESEX-MERCER-CHESTER-MONTGOMERY- BUCKS- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...MORRISTOWN...FLEMINGTON...SOMERVILLE... NEW BRUNSWICK...TRENTON...WEST CHESTER...NORRISTOWN...DOYLESTOWN 1034 PM EST MON DEC 5 2005 ...SNOW ADVISORY IS CANCELLED... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY HAS CANCELLED THE SNOW ADVISORY. HOWEVER, WE STILL EXPECT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOWFALL TO OCCUR WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS IN THE SOUTHERN AREAS AS YOU GET CLOSER TO PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA AND TRENTON, NEW JERSEY. THESE LIGHTER AMOUNTS COULD STILL MAKE ROADWAYS SLIPPERY AND MOTORISTS SHOULD CONTINUE TO EXERCISE CAUTION. |
Since it seems like I am "Father Nature" when it comes to bad weather. I.E., if I get in a vehicle the bad weather then hits, I was truly glad to see nothing but tiny 'lil flakes on my way home from work tonight...

Damn it where the hell did the snow go? I wanted a snow day, or at least a delayed opening...there's barely any on the ground here, where we were originally expecting 4-7 inches.
|
theres a small amount of snow here, like an inch of it on my car. hopefully it will come right off cuz it was just waxed.

Oh boy, look at the forecast for Friday now. They are already showing us on the border of the 3-6" range and the 6-12" range. Enough with this cold weather, it's not even winter yet! But I do think I picked a good time to do the header swap since I wouldn't be driving the SS right now anyway.

Greatttttttttttttttttt

But I'd rather have the snow than the ice. I remember back in 1990 or 91 when we had several ice storms in a row. It just kept piling up. I remember sitting in traffic in my Toyota 4x4 pickup with the wipers freezing solid and not being able to see, but the traffic never moved so it didn't matter. Yup, I'll take the snow any day over that freezing rain/ice crap.
|
True. Ice = crap ..... ice = south.... south = crap ;)
