borla twin tip = hotness

Brando56894 12-14-2005 08:26 PM

yea they look really sweet but idk how i feel about the center thing...

NJSPEEDER 12-14-2005 08:29 PM

i think they look cool. the "intercooled" look is somehting that is unique to borla. they should look good on your car

ar0ck 12-14-2005 08:49 PM

Brandon, if you have seen Mikes car (Nlinnear's) he has the twin Borla exhaust tips, IMO they look alright, but they defenitly fill the gap on a T/A rear bumper.

Personally I would choose Mecham 5" Oval tips to fill the gap but it seems your set on the duel/duel tips.

Brando56894 12-14-2005 09:00 PM

yea ive seen mikes car but didnt notice the tips, and yea dual twins all the way!

Also THE best sounding exhaust next to corsa. You want good power & a great sound, expect to pay up $$$.

I think the GMMG sounds better than Corsa. I have been contemplating getting one for my car, but still not sure if I can swing that much by spring.

corsa sucks.

oh one ls1 SS 12-15-2005 12:23 AM

$700??? and another $150 for tips?!?!?! but it does sound sick humm.. bike or new exhaust?? decisions.. decisions..

Brando56894 12-15-2005 12:31 AM

new exhaust!!

BigAls87Z28 12-15-2005 06:30 AM

4th gen Camaros are hard to find a good looking exhaust for. The assend is so high up, and they dont have the luxury that the TA's have of a notched rear facia, so any exhaust, IMO, looks out of place on the rear.
I vote LT's to dumps out each side. :)
Ive always been a fan of the rolled look, looks very finished and sexy. Im not a fan of the Borla tips.

12secondv6 12-15-2005 09:08 AM

I don't like dual dual.

ar0ck 12-15-2005 12:32 PM

Wait brandon dont you have a firebird bumper, not the notched T/a bumper? Or does it notch from the ground effects?

Im still a no go on duel/duel, but if anything I would go for the rounded tip look.

Tsar 12-15-2005 12:46 PM

**** i didnt mind the 700 dollar price tag at all but then another 150 just for the tips? that kinda ruined it for me...

ive finally decided, im gettin the dual oval magnaflows. theyre actually only $50 each (for the 3", for some reason the 2.5" ones are $154 a piece! i have no idea why, they are exactly the same in all ways except the input is smaller, there were a few other tips that had outrageous prices like that, while the same model with a different diameter was about $100 cheaper, it confuses the hell outta me...)

Savage_Messiah 12-15-2005 03:47 PM

those the ones in the last picture?

Brando56894 12-15-2005 03:49 PM

yep, i liked the borla ones but couldnt get past the look of the "intercoolers" inside the tips...
