Central: Regroup and Mount Up
Ok, summers over, Depot is suspended.
Winter is here, Trucks are suspended We need someone to come up with a new location that will accept a large group of people at any time, without prior notification, and as little police intervention as possible. Lets pick something in dead central jersey. This is something that will be weekly. If anyone knows of a place, please post up. |
how about something in ewing since thats where alot of people are at
|
don't you think i get tired of driving to ewing? how about something in the middle of the central region, to make it fair for people who live on the coast.
i'd almost guarantee a surge in attendance if you make it easier for the shore folks to get to (and i mean toms river, in case you were wondering). there has to be something in the middle between us. |
Come up north! WE KICK ASS!
But in reality, we are always doing stuff on the weekends indoors. We should do a D&B trip! |

anyone know where the lowes is in hamilton? huge shopping center with a few places to eat and massive parking lots. cops patrol it but tend to leave everyone alone unless there is an outbreak of extreme ignorance(read as: ricers show up)
it is jsut off the rt130 exit of 195. |
so your saying.....no cops allowed :(
|
On duty, looking to ticket parked Fbody cops, not off duty, fbody driving cops.
As much as I enjoy Ewing and the crew there, I couldnt drive one hour each way every time. Good for a monthly meet, but not for a weekly. Something in the Freehold area perhaps? |
Weekly meets are tough this time of year(Dec-Feb). Especially if you try to keep it in the same location since there will always be a couple of people that have a longer drive. And since most people don't bring their Fbody out in the winter it gets even tougher to get people out. Every other week wouldn't be too bad but it would still be tough to find a good central location. Jackson Outlets is a good comprise and it's just off 195.
|
Jackson isn't too bad of a drive....wonder if there would be any issues with the cops there though?

i am thinking the jackson outlets or something around that area would work. seems to be about halfway for everyone.

Freehold sounds good to me. only bout 30min or so. i go up to see my girl almost every other day in Whitehouse Station so Freehold ain't nothin. |
jackson inst halfway for me! Maybe I'm north and I dont even realize :?
I could do a quakerbridge mall meet, that wouldnt be too bad. Freehold is about an hour or more depending on traffic, Ewing is about 45 minutes away. I cant wait until winter is over so we can start up the grease trucks meets again! :) |
do we actually need just one place to go every week?
seems like this will be easier if people jsut suggest places to go instead of trying to pick one spot. |
Well then we need to have something that is near all of us. We need to take a page out of the Norths meet book. They all meet up at various places, usualy within 30 mins of where people live.
Im about 30 mins from Freehold Mall, 40 mins from Jackson Outlets. Quakerbridge mall is about an hour from me. Monmouth Mall is about 20 mins, and Sea View Square mall is...well...its where I work!! |
face it, we are more spread out than a lot of their crew. so we aren't gonna come up with one spot that suits everyone.
everyone jsut think of **** to do each week and we will see who wants to try what. |

jackson outlets during the summer months actually hold some of the cooler cruise-ins/club meets to include street rods, g-machines and pro-streeters. some awesome metal turns up weekly. if we were to get set on a day/time, we might actually be able to share the parking lot with those guys when they start meeting.
