maybe she has no choice...lol

i gotta finish shopping for my gf, some of the things i got her are 98-02 camaro style SS fender emblems for her Monte, and a "5.7 Tuned Port Injection" emblem for her trunk lid. I also gotta see what stereo equipment and speakers I have laying around that'll fit her car. Then im getting her a bunch of gift certificates and random stuff she'll like.

BigAls87Z28 12-20-2005 06:53 PM

Yeah, shes into cars.

We were talking, and her friend said that installing them could twist the chassis. I never ever heard that before. Ive heard of twisting the chassis without them, but not while installing them.

trashman01 12-20-2005 06:57 PM

if car aint level it will end up keeing the chassis in that postion thus giving u a tiwsted chassis, just make sure its level and ur good

ar0ck 12-20-2005 06:58 PM

Sweet Al, is it going to run 9's now!?

BigAls87Z28 12-20-2005 07:00 PM

well yeah, thats what I figured.

I'm buying my GF a 4.10 rear but may have to re-work her brake lines going from this damn 4 channel one back to 3 channel

Savage_Messiah 12-20-2005 11:21 PM

due to a current IM conversation I feel obliged to mention that by "GF" I really meant "Camaro"

Brando56894 12-21-2005 02:50 AM

bad64chevelle 12-21-2005 02:13 PM

Al the funniest thing when installing those is you get to see how twisted you car already is...

V 12-21-2005 03:42 PM

kasey...i when you buying the rear, i may want your old one...let em know

i'm not looking forward to doing subframes on my SS, thats going to show me how bad it already is. oh well

BigAls87Z28 12-21-2005 04:27 PM

Yeah, the front is twisted. Lets hope that the chassis is strait enough to where it wont mess it up further.

Those for a 93 F-Body??? If so, tell her to sign up at speeddensity.org.....it's been relatively dead there lately.

I just got my new wife a present.......a Kenwood Excelon DDX8017 (6.5" LCD in dash non flip up DVD player). It's teh hotness.

BigAls87Z28 12-21-2005 05:43 PM

I dunno if shes that into cars. I told her that we would tune her car so that we can get rid of the the hypertech or equivlant chip she has in there now.

BigAls87Z28 12-22-2005 11:52 AM

I ment tuning her car. I dont know if she wants to go there yet. Eventualy, yeah, but for now I figured we would start on suspension.

Tru2Chevy 12-22-2005 06:17 PM
