engine swap question
 
Hey guys i was looking at a 86 berlineta with a seized motor, the trans however he said is rebuilt with a shift kit...how hard would it be to swap a new 305 or even a 350? if its not that bad im gonna pick the car up next week..thanks for the help in advance

what kind of shape is the body in? the bottom? wheel wells? t-top car?

if the body is in decent shape, you can get an L98 fairly cheaply and just drop it in. if the car was fuel injected, you might want to run the harness. also, they tend to fall on their face around 4000 rpm. if it's carbed, no worries. just swap everything over from the intake up.

It's not that hard to do a swap. Just make sure you know what your doing.
