Update on Atco Raceway
 

i saw taht on another site earlier. things look like they are goin great.
not srue how i feel about them leveling the tower, i know it is progress adn all, but that tower is like a land mark when you see pics of the track all the way back to the 60's.

I feel the same way about the tower also....

But, on a side note I repaired the 3 of the grinding discs for the company out of Atlanta that grinded and polished the track...

teh gridning is gonna make that place fast as hell.

Hopefully the little slip-n-slide will be cured that happens about half track cause that **** is scary!

When do they plan to re-open? Early March?

I'm becoming rather...anxious.

The plan is March 1st.

I'm getting anxious too. I just need a set of decent tires for the rear and I'm set...time to run a good ET to go along with a pretty good trap speed.

F1 GS tires suck moose ****.

Man, I drive by the track to and from work almost every day and didn't notice them doing all that! Good to see that they're keeping it up with the times!

According to the site, they're set to reopen Feb 1st, but that can change at any point.

Yeah the site says Feb.1st but the guy in the interview said March 1st.
