how to transfer title of somethign not paid off yet?
 

im selling my ATV and a guy at work wants to buy it and i owe $1500 on it and he wants to buy it since i never get to use it. how do i go about transferring a title that i sont even have since the financing place holds it? thanks for the input

usually sell it for the amount that is owed/or a lil more, pay off what is owed, then the title is stamped clear and it becomes a normal one

yeah but you dont get the title that fast ya know? thats what i am concerned about

Joe, call or email me. I had to do this exact thing with my Suburban when I sold it.

You have to pay it off to get the title. Then you can sell it and the new owner will title it. If the guy trusts you enough to give you the money you can pay it off that way. Otherwise you'll need to borrow money to pay it off to get the title.
