How long/much$ to have clutch/fly swapped?

About how long should a garage take (or what they should charge) to replace the clutch and fly?

I can barely keep up with a geo metro at this point its slipping so horribly. :(

If someone tells you it will take more than one day, they are liars! I work with a guy that can change the clutch and flywheel in about 5 hours tops! and thats with him taking breaks during the process.

I did my LS1 flywheel and clutch in about 5 hours by myself, taking breaks as well. And that was the first time i ever pulled out a t56, or even worked under a 4th gen. lol. Now i could easily do it in under 3 hours, so so simple. And it should be very close to your LT1 setup.

Are you asking how long it should take or how many hours you should be charged?

anywhere between 2 & 5 hours depending on how many t56's the shop has pulled.

duh, I forgot to mention that the guy I work with does front wheel drive trannies. a lot more complicated than a T-56
