Got my 4.10's installed!!!!!

Unfortunatly its snowing, and when the snow stopped, the roads where sheets of ice :(

I drove it home from Greens Performance in Red Bank (who were awesome, by the way) to Long Branch. I didn't open it up, and I don't intent to until the weather is better and I've put 500 miles on them to break them in properly, but I tell you this much, 4.10's where MADE for the Lt1!! I suffered NO driveability loss! You can certainly still get some major speed from each gear, and there was no traction issues even in ****** road conditions like I feared... in fact it felt safer and I could get a few mph slower in the stop and go traffic without making the rpms dip below too much.

so far I'm very happy, and I still havent even got to utilize them for anything fun yet!

*more to come*

Only a few hours, I had it done at Greens Performance in Red Bank, SUPER people over there. Only $300 to install, that included the "alterations" that were needed to be done to the housing for my oem diff cover and the paddlepin kit install.

I'm still only at 200 mile mark so 300 more miles to go and I'll see how well they actually perform. As they are now I'm getting some mild whining at high speeds when its cold out, but other then that they are great. And with the new Spec2 clutch, I'm not experiencing and traction issues this far, although I havent pegged the motor in awhile now. But its SOOO much easier to maintain "posted speeds" on the roads and especially nice in traffic now since I can crawl in 1st without having to slip the clutch to avoid ramming the dude infront of me.
