Newb moving to Jersey

Hey yall, my name is Mike and I'm being stationed at Ft. Dix in June. Right now I'm in N.C. and it looks like you folks have a much bigger hot rod scene. Hope to hook up with some of you all! Thanks to qwikz28 from LS1Tech for directing me here :-D

Hello! What part of N.C. are you in? I go down to Concord all the time.

11 Bravo 03-05-2006 07:23 AM

I'm here in Fayetteville outside of Ft. Bragg. Ricer heaven.

No, between deployments and my car being down I've never ran there. It is a nice track.

Where is a good area to look for a place to live? I was searching on the net and maybe Burlington and that area? Yalls real estate prices are horrifying, btw. Absolutely horrifying.

Good think you are looking farther south. Anything north of Monmouth county, and you better be pulling in at least 6 figures to afford an out house. NJ is getting crazy with the prices. I dont understand what makes NJ so popular? Its a good state, but people are flooding this state.

qwikz28 03-05-2006 07:34 PM

I dont know but they tore down alot trees in the dismal swamp area, its freaking crazzy!!! I have a feeling they are gonna build more houses by the train tracks over here....
