i personally wouldnt buy a kit like that and i dont prefer kenwood... plus if u listen to mostly metal you def dont need 2 12's .... do some research on subs and buy it seperatley it will end up being more expensive probably but at least youll be getting something ur happy with

Don't spend money on a bunch of stereo stuff for your car that's gonna be beatup by the time you get your license and can actually drive around and enjoy it. Work on getting the rest of the car up to snuff first.

i bought that package from bestbuy like 2 years ago (when my bro had employee discount) for $150 (retail was over $400) but the amp is 900 watts (dunno what RMS) and it bumps like a motherrrrr. Personally, I dont like the way the 12s sound for rock but they sound good if you listen to rap. I would suggest a good set of 10s if your into rock. I would wait for the system and do some other work to your car before you throw in a system, such as upgrading your alternator.

not only that you have no place to put the box. Actually, i still got my dual 12" sub box that fits in the hatch of a 3rd and 4th gen.

But anyways, I had a single 12 in a sealed box that I built in the well for the spare tire. That sounded good enough for metal or pretty much anything for that matter.

dont do it. waste of money. i can get you a 12" enclosed sub for like $100 from my friend. he's not using it and you cna probably get an amp on ebay for 100 or so. if you want it let me know. i can help you install it too. i've redone the stereo system in my camaro like 5x a year since i've owned it

Jake does good work. Listen to the man he will send you in the right direction. And I have a box for the trunkish area if you are interested for 2-10s I actually have everything subs, amps, wiring, fuse block. I took it out of the Camaro about 8 months ago when I thought I was going to sell it. All of it is in great working condition its not the best brands but its not bad stuff.
