the clears on my SS are mint, but they are my 3rd set. the first two sets ****ed up after only like 3 months, ive had these about 3 years now with no issues. I run amber bulbs(no hyperwhite crap) and no DRLs. This last set i got on ebay form "procarparts.com". and the black set i have is brand new never installed and from the same company i believe.

Savage_Messiah 03-09-2006 03:40 AM

Could someone photoshop those onto a red 93-97?? Or anyone have pics?

Tru2Chevy 03-09-2006 12:54 PM

We need some installed pics....

DONT INSTALL THEM TILL YOU SILICONED THE EDGES. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED. I WENT THROUGH TWO PAIRS ALREADY CAUSE OF THIS. I FINALLY SEARCHED LS1TECH THIS MORNING AND REALIZED I HAD TO DO THIS.

ar0ck 03-09-2006 05:17 PM

haha I still need a hand installing them. I hope I have silicone around the house. The clear window kind right?

If not go to the parts store and get clear rtv silicone....but look carefully since i think the clear permatex one is a glue too..not that it would matter much but still

GP99GT 03-10-2006 04:26 PM

yeah a lot of the time aftermarket corner lights will leak, they need to be resealed before you even put them on the car.

V 03-11-2006 02:39 AM

well, for clears, dont get the cheapest set you can find. usually for a few bucks more, youll get much better quality. thats what the story was with my SS clears, first 2 sets were like 15 and the last set was around 30.

Savage_Messiah 03-12-2006 06:37 PM

I can give you a hand installing them, it's cake

slayerxxx213 03-13-2006 09:58 PM

I've been seriously thinking of getting those exact corners for a couple months now...I'd really like to see some pics once they are installed...I'm pretty sure they'd look sick on my red/black Z28. Anyone know if I'd have any trouble with the cops though? I figure if I used orange bulbs I'd be fine, but what do you guys think?

oh one ls1 SS 03-14-2006 12:03 AM

i had clear corners n they leaked like crazy..sealed them and they still leaked so i just put the stockers back in.. but i lloovveeee those..where did u get them?

slayer-i had clear corners with red bulbs and i didnt get any **** from the cops
