This sucks
 

Well, just got home from the trucks, and opened up my email. There is an email from Hagerty with some documents attatched. So I download them, hoping that one is one I can print to use as a temp insurance card!
Nope...no insurance due to "Unacceptable driving record from other driver or drivers in household"
Ugh... I wonder if I can try to put it under my dad's address?

I knew you were gonna have problems with that. They hasseled me about my brother's ticket too. I called them and told them that he would not be driving the car ever! So they made me sign something saying I was the only operator of the vehicle and they gave me a policy. Give them a call back and see if that works.

I'm guessing this has something to do with your brother....

That sucks man, I'm figuring that I would get the same thing from them if I applied.

Yeah, it's the stupid crap in NJ that the insurance companies have to look at everyone in the household. Another company to try is MKInsurance.

for the collector insurance, how far back do they look in your driving history? Usually insurance comapnies go back 3 years so i assume it about the same.

i signed a thing from hagerty saying i would be the only driver of the vehicle as well. See if you can go from that angle.

Im gunna call them sometime tomorrow. This has kinda brought all my plans to a hault.
