1980 malibu engine work

Hey I was just wondering recently I just purchased a 1980 chevy malibu with only 60,000 orginial miles I was looking into dropping in a new engine something middle of the road nothing special does anyone have any ideas of what would good for a car like this or knows anyone that can put a new engine in and what the price of something like that would cost.

Any advice would be appreciated thankyou, Anthony

I would think a mild 350 would suit you well. What engine is in the car now?
