Getting new drag radials sometime soon...
and I just wanna check on what size I want.
Currently have Craig (Little G)'s old ones.. 235/60/15 Comp T/A DR's. I spin them off the line buuut they're very very near dead. Making 175 hp 204 tq... running 14.9s @ 91.x mph... spinning the DRs I'm cutting 2.1 60's... stock convertor for now but a 3200 stall, 2.8 STR going in when the new tranny goes in. So, should I stick with the 235s?? What's everyone's opinion? And what DRs should I look at, i ehar about the MT's hooking amazing but not lasting long at al, the BFG's being a good mix of hook and life, and the nittos lasting the longest but being the worst hooking of the 3. Are these true or false... if theyre true I think I'll stay with the BFG. So, what are your opinions, what size what brand? |
I say you replace them with BFGs, same size.

I would say the same.....

I've basically hear the same about those three DR's.
I haven't run at the track yet but more than likely I'm going to have traction problems so I'm hoping to pick up a set of BFG DR's. Let me know how they work out for you. |
i would recomend 235/60-15 M/T ET Street Radials. shoudl be plenty of grip to get you moving and still small enough to not cause too much rolling resistance at the big end of the track. :)
