i tried to go with them but they didnt make them in the 275 40 17's yet so i ended up getting the g force sports which are good tires but if u can get the kdw 2's then def go with them my friend has them on his 300zx tt and loves them

I'm going to try to pick up a set of those when I get home. Well, it's either that or a roll cage lol

jimmyboy8301 05-05-2006 07:19 AM

i have the kdw's not sure if they are 1 or 2's but i love them.

I had them on my Marauder, I really liked them.

I have the KDWS version. Good traction in dry and wet, OK in snow(up to 3 inches). I would also check on the BFG Traction TA's. Their specs are better than those of the G-force line. Check them out and do a side-by-side comparison on Tire rack. You'll see what I mean.

The Traction TA's are a great tire, but thats more of an all season, large-market type performance tire. The G-Force KDW 1 and 2 are very good 3 season tires and offer excelent traction. Price isnt ususaly too bad, but a deffinate great tire for the money.
BTW, the KDW 1's are the regular directional tread style, KDW 2's have the "flame" look to them.

thank you im very excited about getting them, too bad i wont be able to try them out till i get back from okinawa in august. im thinking its goin to be something close to a whole new monster with bilstein sport shocks, eibach lowering springs 1" and the tire and rim combo. im really looking forward to it when i get home.

Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 for the win. I got em all around, great in the rain, and I have a tough time breakin them loose beyond 2nd they grip like a bastard. On the street. Nvm the track.

I've got the original 1's on my car...Very good tires, I really don't have much bad to say about them...I would really consider the 2's but they don't have them in very many useful sizes yet, (for f-bodies at least). I'm probably gonna' go with either the kdw 1's again or get gs-d3's...I've been thinking of goin' with the g-force sports but I haven't heard enough about them yet...

got them on my SRT4 from factory...love them...........they're worn out now at 32000 miles.........but i drive a little crazy sometimes.
