Was at home tonight with the fam. Got the SLP high flow air lid for my Firehawk, so I tried installing it. Seemed like a pretty easy installation, until I had to remove the MAF from the stock resonator (the ugly black plastic thing the air pump hose hooks onto). As much as I tried, the MAF won't budge, it's like it's krazy glued in! Ugh...so I have the stock setup on still. Maybe I'll just buy the SLP MAF...is it any better than the stock?

Other than that, the day was good. I highly recommend DQ ice-cream cakes. Thanks again for all the b-day wishes!

Happy Birthday ! I had the same problem it took me 2 hours to get the MAF out but in the end a little silcone lubricant did the trick... spary it around the edges and let is sit for a sec then try it.

that's all we use at the shop.

Don't bother buying a new MAF unless yours actually dies. No point...

That's what I figured. But I finally got the damn thing out (with the help of a vise and a lot of silcone). I think it looks better ...
