mehh i agree that the sticker is stupid but there are plenty of "grocery getting freaks" or "good mpg freaks" that will hand him his ass at the track, thats even if he has a vette....i hate stupid fags...

Squirrel 05-19-2006 05:34 PM

i know i wouldnt want to mess with any Torque Freak cars, but funny note otherwise :w00t:

Tsar 05-19-2006 06:39 PM

yeah, i am willing to bet they sell a lot of stickers too
just cause a shop has a few fast cars (i actually know jeff from turbo trixx) doesn't mean that most of their clients are anything more than average street creatures with a few bolt ons.
most tuner shops make their living from doing the basics, CAI, exhaust, other bolt ons, and tuning.

project89 05-19-2006 06:57 PM

why do i keep hearing that name(turbo trixx) ?? good place ? when i wa splanning on staring my turbo build somone had mentioned that place to me.but i neverreally paid attention

Tsar 05-19-2006 06:57 PM

i think we already agreed that the wasnt the best choice.

11 Bravo 05-19-2006 06:58 PM

That carbon fiber hood should give that car some good torque.

Tsar 05-19-2006 06:59 PM

Turbo Trixx tunes evos, dsms, and WRX and such... i think any owner in jersey of said cars knows about the shop. Ive heard good things about them.

Tsar 05-19-2006 07:06 PM

i love how people always assume 4banger or some stickers = slow...
this guy must be a ricer, and really slow.

several of my friends used to work at Turbotrix when jeff had the shop up in tenafly. Ironically, he used to own a camaro before he got into DSMs.
I never heard any real complaints.

NJSPEEDER 05-19-2006 07:08 PM

turbo trixx is a cool shop. jeff, the owner, has been running in IDRC/NOPI drag races for years. at one point i think he even had the quick stock 5spd DSM in the country.
he did some work for my brother on his 92 Talon TSI. good dude, stands behind his work.

project89 05-19-2006 07:12 PM

if i ever buy another 4cyl car it will deff be another talon or eclipse.speaking of which i know were theres a nice ass turbo talon awd sitting for sale near my shop.things prolly been for sale for over 6 months now i may just have to stop by one day and see how much there asking

Tsar 05-19-2006 07:21 PM

also see whats wrong with it? 1st gen or 2nd gen?

project89 05-19-2006 07:26 PM

2nd gen , its deffinatly been modded. it has a body kit on it, but its not some huge ricer kit.it has a nice subtle kit on it no huge wing etc.and from driving past it i can see a huge front mount intercooler on it,and the car has deff been droped 1-2 inches. it looks like the car was well takem care of from what i can see body looks perfect, clean paint etc.just have to see what it looks like under the hood if the person is asking a reasonable price

Tsar 05-19-2006 07:32 PM

cool, good luck ohh and is it 95-96 or 97-99 bodystyle. cuz 97+ pwnt well besides the 7bolt but thats what u get for buying a 2nd gen :lol

project89 05-19-2006 07:33 PM

actually come to think of it it may very well be a 1st gen ill have to go find out prolly on monday
