And DMV fails another vehicle!
 

They failed my 96 SS back in November for a burned out rear license plate light and they failed my 88 4Runner this morning for a bad gas cap! It actually holds pressure, but apparently it's not enough for this state! I passed emission's easily and that's with an 18 year old truck with 149K miles and the original catalytic converter too! So now I need to go to Poop Boys to buy a cap and then go back through.

They failed my camaro for the same thing, I went downt he street and bought a new one, 10 mins later i was back in line and they passed me. Its such BS!

i got failed for that stupid light over the back license plate twice (long story) lol, makes me miss florida and the lack of inspection lol

make sure you get a reciept for the cap, they might ask you for one

inspection $50: passing with out windsheild wipers,or third mirrior priceless! pay a shop to do it..

Your car never had a third brake light on it....

my camry passed NY inspection from home. what a joke

I picked up a new gas cap and went back through after work last night. Passed, so now I have 2 years before I have to worry about it again. I'll take the fender flares back off and sell them since I don't really need them and they're worth some money. If I'm still driving this 4Runner in 2 years then that's a really bad sign! :laugh:

I have one month to get the Camaro ready to go through inspection and put cats back on it, I think ill just pay to get it "passed"

i passed with tints on a dsm @ a reg. inspection facility...

fixed. no never said it wasnt good, but at the time my wipers were just metal no rubber on it so I just took them off, Of coarse I did get new wipers though

i passed with no front plate and tinted tail lights...private shop and i know the guy :D of course, he didnt know about the 3" off road downpipe that was sitting in my trunk

matt where did u get an inspection for 50 bucks.. as many of u kno ive been rolling wit no inspection since i bought my car.. might be nice to have one ya kno?
