I was impressed...

Today on my way to work a new Hemi Charger blew past me doing about a gadzillion miles an hour. And it looked pretty good doing it. Funny how I find this to be OK, but if a ricer pulled a similar stunt I woulda been cursing them in a blue streak and wishing death to be rained down upon them.

the difference is most ricers have little econo-cars with tiny brakes and crappy suspensions that aren't meant for those speeds. the charger is equipped to do that. 8)

That makes one of us. 350hp and 2 tons, and no bed to haul things?
Charger is a solid car, no doubt. Heavy as hell, but I like the idea of a large sports sedan for a good price. Kinda wish the GP was RWD...would make for a killer looking vehicle.

I think its the exhaust note that drives me nuts. That over revved lawn mower sound that comes from ricers sets my teeth on edge. Any throaty American V8 is better than that crap.

Amen. I can't see how anyone could think they actually sound good.
