identify cam??
 
hey somone gave me what appears to be a billet roller cam,theres numbers on it but couldnt match it up with anything on jegs or summit
the number is 049-cpc-bc-15
figured id see if one fo u guys happened to know what it is,friend was unsure but he belives it was a blower/supercharger cam.
lol i may jut end up sticking this thing in the block i have and seting up a degree wheel and figuring out what it is,but thats gonna be a helluva lota work

i just searched my catalogs, it isn't a shelf item from comp cams, crane, or lunati.

its not for my 6cyl motor,its a sbc cam

i almost wonder if it si a doug herbert cam. i know a few guys who have gotten custom boost cams from him and said they are pretty good.

maybe i cant find anything on those numbers i pulled off this cam,im going to put it in the block i have and grab a degree wheel and find out the specs on it when i have time,looks like the cam has alot of lift ,real agressive opening ramps too

in my shop we use an 18 inch deg wheel you can see a 1/4 of a deg with it but i would do it both ways @ .050 and the LSA method like the mopars do so you can get the intake center line with that anything over 106* / 107* intake center line car wont footbrake with out a stumble jz
