Minimum Post Reminder

Reminder: Beginning in 9 days (July 1, 2006), every user will be required to have 50 posts in order to use the Classifieds section. This will apply to all users, so if you are currently selling, buying, or attempting to work out a deal using this Classifieds forum, and you do not have the required 50 posts, please wrap up your trading quickly.

Once you reach the 50 post minimum, you will have access to the Classified section again (within 1 hour).

In other words, postwhoring will commence in the lounge :-P

Can you give us full detail as to why this rule is in effect? (not like it really matters to me tho)

Tsar 06-23-2006 02:21 PM

we should make it higher

Tru2Chevy 06-23-2006 02:23 PM

We are implementing this rule mainly to keep users from joining our site just to use our Classifieds section, without participating in any other part of the club/forum.

i think it should be higher. 50 posts is cakework for some. kasey does that in one sitting

NJSPEEDER 06-23-2006 03:32 PM

if we see a pattern of abuse we will reconsider the post count requirement. for now we are going with the number that we found in use on many of the larger sites

i'm glad to see this rule coming into effect. Justin also said hes going to look in a possible trader ratings feature so other users can see how a certain member rate in regards to previous transactions. I do my best to make sure all people who buy stuff from me are fully satisfied and i want all users to be able to see who can be trusted and who maybe shouldnt be.

Three more days until this goes into effect....
