Starting price is $499 for the base model, $599 for the upgraded model. Games can easily cost more than $59.99 each..... - Justin |

Dude PS3 is going to blow the Xbox out of the water. For instance, all the PS1 and PS2 games could be played on the PS3, with you cant do with the XBOX. My friend paid 700 bucks for his XBOX and he already got 2 replacement because of overheating, the forget to mention that and you hav eto the fan which is like 75 more if you want it to run correctly. Not to mention a butt load of problem with the games because of fast release. he had 06 baseball return about 5 times before he gave up on the game, finding out later that 27 percent of the games shipped had problem with it. Oh yea i forgot the most important part, he pre ordered it for first shipment and he didnt get it until 5 months later and i personally dont think it was worth it. Plus the graphics werent that much of improvement over the old XBOX.

I have a PS2, but when the guy living next door to me at school gave me the chance to buy his basicly brand new Xbox for $60 I decided what the hell. Side by side to me the xbox over the PS2 hands down! Games (like Forza vs GT4) The xbox wins. I will most likely not be buying any further systems because I really dont get the chance to play much, but I guess if I decide to get another one it will be an xbox 360. The PS2s graphics just sucked imo.

Yea of course the PS2 graphics sucks, it is an older model compaired to XBOX when it came out. I feel that the game selection fro PS2 was much greater then the XBOX. See what really counts is the gameplay not the graphics. I have played some really graphically great games but the gameplay sucked which ruined it for me. I rather sit through 40+ hours of gameplay with bad graphics, then playing 10 hours of a tremendously great graphic game with no gameplay. Personally there are way too many buttons on the XBOX games to make any game enjoyable, for instance i played the new tom clancy ghost recon and there is about 500 different button combinations to get through that game, making it a play 5 sec and pause so you can read what buttons do which, not mention the ridiculously hard game play on top of that. oh there is another thing about the XBOX i dont like, the HD side of it. You gonna have to spend a good amount of money to get the XBOX looking like it they present it. First off is a new TV, because even HD Tv of like 5 years ago, they graphics still look like crap. I know from personal experience when my friend brought it over to another friends house and he has a 50 inch HD and there wasnt much difference from playing on my TV, which is a flat screen non HD but less then a year old.
Plus the are remaking the greatest game ever made Final Fantasy 7 for PS3 WOOOHOOO, take that XBOX. Anyway, if you look at it, you can build a better comp than either the XBOX or PS3, for the same amount of money. That is the route i went but i spent 2500 on my comp :). |
PS3 is suppose to have some kinda cache thing, where u dont have to wait for a game to load as much. XBox over PS hands down... Xbox Live is great, and its gonna be the best price on the market compared to PS3 and its games. But just wait, Nintendo is gonna creep up behind them and I wouldnt be suprised at the games it'll put out :)
And I can definately tell a difference with Xbox 360 over the regular Xbox... its ****ing amazing  |
