new pulleys?

ive been thinking about getting lighterweight pulleys for a few more horses and some better MPG...but the thing is my system takes a decent amount of battery to power. im worried the alternator (which is only 70 amps or so) wont be able to charge the battery as well with a lighter pulley on it. could this happen?

dont waste money on pulleys. keep in in your bank account and use it for something else thats more beneficial....

A lightweight pulley is not always an underdrive pulley. Unless you can get them cheap, I wouldn't bother for the gain that you would see.
