2006 CBR F4i kill last night

my best friend bought a 06' F4i a month or 2 ago and i asked him, ""once its broken in, you wanna run me?" he said "sure" I told him itll be a close race, but youll take me.
So last night on rt 55 between exit 29 and exit 32
we ran from a 65-70mph roll. so that put me in the sweet spot of 3rd gear (since i have 4.11s) he beeped 3 times and we were off.
he gets out ahead of me, puts a car length on me or so, i hit 4th gear and start gaining a lil, then 5th gear and closed the gap. he looked down as i passed him and said he was around 137mph when i went by. when i went by i was doing 145. went up to 150 or so and then shut down, gaining on him the whole time.
We pulled into the wingate inn parking lot, and he said "you got me dude" i said, "nah you were messing with me" and he said, "no really you beat me" and then mentioned how quick we got up to speed. hes cool as hell for letting me race him.

let me enlighten you then. A F4i is a 600. i just figured you were being sarcastic like usual,

i dunno if honda makes any other crotchrockets smaller than that
i know kawasaki makes 250 ninjas lol.

hey its a given on who will win from a dig here. he runs 11s stock and i run mid 12s

going from a roll makes it easier to race 600s

And i can race from a dig and launch like a bat outta hell. so dont just think all i can do is "race fum roll" like alot of people. have a nice day :)

Koll 07-29-2006 04:54 PM

Um. I wasent talking about racing from a roll or a dig. I was talking about racing on public streets.

V 07-29-2006 09:31 PM

11's stock? lol

i know guys putting down high 9's/low 10's with a pipe(on 600cc bikes). Hell, my bike does high 10's stock, Once i get my K&N and power commander it'll be 9's. The spray will be just a backup.

Ok now about your friend, how long has he been riding? if the f4i is his first bike, hes an idiot and should wreck his bike and never ride again. Stupid people liek that give us all a bad rep. I see it way too often, trying to show off etc, i started riding 7 years ago, i'm on my 4th bike, i upgraded everytime to where i am, 88 600cc Ninja, 91 600cc ZX6D, 99 600cc CBR F4, and now '03 636cc ZX6R. To just learn to ride and then race at 150 on the street... thats just dumb. oh well, they better get a bodybag ready.

I'm not one to tell other poeple how to live their lives, but going that fast on a public street is pretty dumb...I wouldn't do it at least. good kill though, you're buddy must not know how to ride his bike.

98tadriver 07-30-2006 08:38 AM

ok, before you all start making assumptions and hatin' for racing on "public roads", read please so i can clarify this a lil more for you.

first of all, hes been riding since he was 7 years old. hes not your typical a$$ hole rider that "shows off" He knows his limits and he Can ride with the best of them. Its not his first bike. hes had 3 other bikes before that. a older suzuki 750,(not a crotchrocket), an ex500 - both he got tired of them. and the 02' worked R6 that his friend wrecked for him. :( as far as 1/4 mile times go, thats what Fairway Honda in somers point told me when i asked. and the RR running a few tenths faster with a 10.84 @ like 123 or something cant remember exact mph but that was the time.

to everyone, Rt55 is a divided highway with no intersections. It was a late night, no traffic at all. we dont race like those idiots on the fast and the furious did. since there was no traffic in front or behind us we had plenty of room. it was a State highway with a wide median in between, not a public street. but i know what yall will say "same difference bla blah blah".

Whats the point of living if you cant feel alive? I cant always go to atco to race, its 50 miles one way from me onw way, Etown being at least 2 hrs away. We're the more responsible street racers. we dont get all caught up in the moment and race like jackasses. go ahead and laugh that one up. With everything you run a risk. I hope you all believe in god, because you could be driving home tonight and a drunk driver could hit and kill you, not some "stupid kids ************".
