was it not solid before or something. I only had one fbody that ever had rust under the seat, no big deal really that yours doesn't.

as the burn .. sand it down and repaint it.

Agreed.

So either... you never got around to looking on the driver side firewall/floor, or you found out you have a flinstone-sized foot-hole and choose not to show us cuz the only spot I see not posted IS that area

Well... prepare yourself with a box of kleenex. My 86 TA was pretty much the same shape, until i lifted the front driver carpet... doing that added 5 Front Wheel Footpower.

my friend has a 84 chevy caprice wagon, and he throws his trash out threw his floor... kinda looks like he just hit something on the road.... Just hope he never puts his foot down or it will be gone. the 89 is still in good shape thank god!

maroman88 08-06-2006 12:54 AM

mines perfect. i looked at a 91 formula with 66k miles on it and the floor was shot on both sides, ttop car, and the body was MINT watta shame

WayFast84 08-06-2006 09:40 AM

Yeah my car had tons of surface rust, so I was actually shocked their was no rust on the floor.

Tru2Chevy 08-07-2006 11:36 AM

My '87 has some surface rust on the floor, but the only hole is on the passenger side on the cat hump. It's just big enough to stick a pencil through now, so it's nothing major (yet).
