i have a compression tester, but the air compressor thats in my trailer takes a very long time to use with it. there's also a timing light around somewhere. btw. timing has one m, timming is like being an admin.

WayFast84 08-19-2006 04:21 PM

Did You take the big ass speakers out?

project89 08-19-2006 05:23 PM

no im gonna take them out at the race track, takes about 30 mins for me to get the system out of the car,im kinda debating on it though, the 3-400 pounds that stuff wieghs is right over the rear tires so they actually sorta help with traction.im gonna be on street tires tom cause i dont wanna pu tthe slicks on then get up there and have it raining and have to drive back the 115+ miles back in the rain on slicks

edit nm just rechecked the weather for tom only 30% chance of a rain, thats good enough fo rme to bolt the slicks on

79CamaroDiva 08-19-2006 05:41 PM

115 miles??? where the **** are you coming from? to your house it MIGHT be 50 miles.

No, we don't do co2 fills. if we did it would make my life a whole lot easier. there's a paintball place that does them that's off rt 80. other than that, i dunno.

V 08-19-2006 05:45 PM

oh ok, then i guess I just remembered you trying to fill your co2 bottle at the meet we had in june there. and you wanted to jack the soda co2. so...my bad, lol

out of the way 60 miles is a tiny bit? lol... if you're coming from anywhere by your area, take 287N to 78W to exit 24?(i think 24, its for oldwick/whitehouse) make a right off the exit, follow that for about 16 miles (a long ass time) It will merge into rt 46 west. There will be a shell station on your left, and a hess station kind of in front of you but on the right... bear left there onto 46, keep the hess station on your right. follow that for another 6 or7 miles, track entrance will be on the right.

the paintball place is called paintball depot, on rt 46, i think in either ledgewood or kenville. if you need to stop there, call first (973)-584-2220 and make sure they're open on sundays and what time. if you need to stop there, instead of taking 287 to 78, take 287 all the way up to 80w, and take exit 30, Proceed South on Howard Blvd. To Rt. 46. Make a left onto Rt. 46 towards Kenvil. Go through one traffic light, the store will be on the right in a little strip mall. Then get back on 80 west and take exit 19 to get to the track, make a left off the exit, follow for 6 miles, make a right onto rt 46 (main street), follow for 7 miles, track entrance will be on the right.

EDIT: You'll get lost im sure. keep my number handy.

project89 08-19-2006 06:29 PM

fixed

project89 08-19-2006 10:42 PM

lol well as of right now the car is fixed i think, but i still want to do a compression or leakdown test on cyl #6.and ive got to reset the timming still.i still have it at 4-6* base timming instead of 12*.so well just have to see what i find out tom,to see how hard i actually run the car.right now im entering my gf into the brakcet class(only 3-4 psi of boost) and im going to run it in tnt 12-18 psi of boost/and more then likely nitrous

and kasey if u juinx me ima kick your ass lol, better yet ur not alowed around the car at anytime during the nats :) lol
