Need our own mag..
 

Anyone know of a mag dedicated to 82-92 F-bodies? lol is it to much to ask? im tired of getting mags like high performance pontiac just to find little or no articles in them.. usually all older or newer( sorry 93& up guys n gals your cars are most exellent to! :bow: ) but i like to read about those year 3rd gens as a recovering mustang guy id like to read crap that has to do with what im driving..:nod:

Unfortunately there aren't enough people sinking $5000 into third gens so they don't make it into the mags that often. HardcoreZ28 has had his camaro in a few magazines and photoshoots because he's put time, money and effort into modifying his ride. If more people did it AND contacted the magazines for a photo op and maybe article, you'd see more.

You'll notice that HPP and PE both have lots of New Jersey exposure. Put sme money into your car, make it look clean, then give them a call. :wink:

I've been seeing 3rd gens in all the mags lately.

You would think that the Thirdgen would be the primo cheap performance machine. Lighter then the 4th gen, cheaper, and has more room to work with...so much more then a 4th gen.
How many LS1 heads and cam jobs are there out there to be coverd by GMHTP??

Does GMHT have a web site? ya ive seen them im magizines but its a crap shoot now a magazine that was all 3rd gen that would be cool even it came out quarterly or something...but im sure everyone wants that lol

Well, no. That's the problem. Third gens are still everywhere. They aren't old enough to be classics, and not new enough to be worth anything beyond a weekend cruiser (if it's in good enough condition). The 3rd gens that make it into mags are the ones that are rare enough to be valuable (TTA) or heavily modified. Once the 3rd gens are old enough to maybe generate some value, then you'll see more pictures of "survivors" plus the rare ones like the 92 Firehawk, TTA and maybe someday the Recaro editions.

For now, 3rd gens are just another story among GTO's, 4th gens and other restored classics.
