THANK GOD, the rain has stopped!

It really sucked taking the dog out to do his bizness the last couple o' days. Nothing like getting soaked to the bone. It was nice finally being able to go out and stay dry. I think the dog was happy, too. Taking a dump in the rain must suck! :)

Still raining here.... should stop soon

r0nin89 09-02-2006 11:22 PM

Is it done for good? I was driving today and was like wow it sucks driving my car in the rain this is no fun... Plus the concern of falling branches...

BigAls87Z28 09-02-2006 11:47 PM

There are branches, and trees lying all around here. Its a mess.

75 mph hydroplaning on 287 is the **** (new tires going on early next week, and if i dont get some dry weather to do my pads and rotors i may just have the shop do it then... but i really dont wanna shell out 80 an hour for driveway work)

LuvMyF8LWS6 09-03-2006 09:02 AM

No rain! yay!!!!!!

Car cover blew right off yesterday! (Guess I gotta tie that stuff down in big wind storms! haha)

It's kind of nice having a beater like the 4Runner to drive. I was driving over all kinds of branches and debris yesterday since I don't really care. Looks like it's time to mow the lawn though!

baddest434 09-03-2006 09:53 AM

it is now 11 o'clock and i'm about half done cleaning up my yard been at it since 8 this morning. better then sitting in the house watching the damn rain!

WayFast84 09-03-2006 09:55 AM

Get this, after working in the drizzles all week freezing are asses off picking up roofing, the one day its nice out and im scheduled to work, its closed because it flooded

Tsar 09-03-2006 10:56 AM

no hydroplaning here but i did spin the tires as i was trying to pass a semitruck... ohh and rain makes the roads shiny here so u can see ****.

GP99GT 09-03-2006 11:02 AM

i did a bit of hydroplaning on 287 going about 65ish...but i wont buy new tires til winter if i still have the car

chrisfrom nj 09-03-2006 11:22 AM

i did a nice burn out first second and third in my s10

bad64chevelle 09-03-2006 11:28 AM

One road out by me was pretty flooded out, thank god I have the Ram now, the Z28 woulda been sunk in about a foot and a half of water...I had to go through it twice last night...well I didn't HAVE to, but it sure was fun! Beautiful day today, keep em coming like this!

BigAls87Z28 09-03-2006 05:45 PM

I thought to myself on my way to work today, that maybe because of the beautiful weather, that NO ONE would want to go shop for tires today? That they would be out, enjoying probably the last few days of summer....
Dead motha ****ing wrong.
Non-Stop people. I had a Congo line out the door today, counted 20 people. Every single person had baaaaaaald tires, I guess they had a little too much fun in the rain the past few days, thought that they would pick TODAY, a Sunday before Labor Day, to bring in there car.....

JL8Jeff 09-03-2006 07:43 PM

I went for a short ride in the SS today to get some gas and I hit one little patch of water at the end of my street and as soon as I let the clutch out the car got sideways instantly. I need tires for sure!

maroman88 09-04-2006 12:47 AM

we responded to 23 fire calls in 8 hours, it was a long day, all down power lines and trees and telephone poles on fire

Ian 09-04-2006 11:05 AM

baddest434 09-04-2006 11:15 AM

^ cause he was a *******

WayFast84 09-04-2006 11:48 AM

Because he didnt like his car any more, he noticed the trees angle, and said hell give it a shot.

I would do it, if i had a car that i couldnt sell or would get a nice insurance money

Savage_Messiah 09-04-2006 01:16 PM

parking in my driveway i was scared as hell a tree would fall on it overnight. Hey mke, did you only respond to oradell or were you going aroudn to other towns? a block away from me there was a downed live power line, then the next day my dad drives by and sees that the same house got a huge branch into the roof

V 09-04-2006 02:05 PM

i was hoping for a tree to take out my rotting iroc, denali, and bronco all in one sweep, but i didnt get lucky. theyre all still here and "fine"...
