I was looking around the nastyZ28 picture galleries. I think that was in the 1980 or 1981 section.

qwikz28 09-03-2006 07:28 PM

i might like it better on a earlier 2nd gen, not a stock restored one, but a nicely modded one.

Too ricey for me. Although I could use something a little brighter than my 1 candlewatt headlights!:???:

BigAls87Z28 09-03-2006 09:06 PM

Jeff, I put in the Silverstar's, and I LOVE them!! They are pretty bright.

BonzoHansen 09-03-2006 09:26 PM

It could be a bad pic, but looks kinda gehy.

Too bad you want to keep her all OE. A few relays & some halogens go a long way.

Edit: Al, if you didn't do a relay setup, you should.

WayFast84 09-03-2006 09:51 PM

look at noah's car... they look SICK on his car, I didn't believe it till I saw it myself.

But here, maybe it's the stock yellows next to it or something, but my feelings are just..... no.

each to there own.

BigAls87Z28 09-05-2006 12:24 PM

I was thinking of doing that relay thing, but im really not that good at electronics. If I do that, I also want to upgrade the dash lights to LED's, give it a more modern flare.

BonzoHansen 09-05-2006 12:53 PM

The headlights & dash are completly unrelated, work effort-wise. It's all underhood. You are running too much amperage through the old wiring & old switch, ones that are not built to handle it. Not to mention you probably do not have 12v at the lights themselves.

JL8Jeff 09-05-2006 01:51 PM

Yeah, you definitely want to run some relays with any extra lights or with high powered lights. It's actually pretty easy to do once you understand the concept.
