Request
When a post is deleted..... at least PM the person and provide a reason.
Just deleting it... w/o reason is a bit annoying |
PM me info about what posts of yours were deleted and i will find out why.
|
Maybe you can leave 'a trail'? When posts are deleted on team camaro, it is noted on the forum, like a moved thread. The mod doing the deleting can leave a reason which is visible to the user (but the thread is not). Just a suggestion.

We have notices like that as well, but they are only able to be viewed by admins/mods. Anytime a post is deleted, a PM or IM should be sent to the person who made the post. That, in our opionion, is better than leaving the deletion notices open for everyone to see.

Just a thought, but if you do them in the public then maybe other can see what is and is not acceptable. It’s a kind of user training. Might reduce your PM’ing time.
|
We'll think about it. I actually was not aware that you were able to allow members to see those notices.
Can you possibly send a PM to an admin or mod there and ask what version of vBulletin they are running? They appear to have paid extra for the branding free license from Jelsoft, the company that owns vBulletin.... - Justin |
Sure. I'll get back to you on that.
