Still a valid question, you need to have the right Prop valve even if you have a good pedal. I am pretty sure they are different for rear discs.

so i called pontiac to ask if there were 2 part numbers for the valve and they told me that it was the same part number for disk and drums. i thought the same think about the valve but i remember once reading that to save money gm just compincated with a diffrend wheel cylinder

Ask about master cyl and prop vale - wait, does this have one of those large ABS units? Do they even have prop valves? I've never looked that closely at 4th gen setups.

Draven94blackbird 09-16-2006 05:29 PM

yea is abs that is why i think it was the same. it does have a valve but its mounted together with the unit

Savage_Messiah 09-17-2006 01:13 AM

In 4th gens it's the same prop valve for disk or drum
