So im looking for some help to get my car runing.. again
Id need a hand, Installing timing chain and everything power sterring alt etc. bolting up my headers I could do my self but bolting the headers to the Y ill need another hand. Also be installing a LG4 wiring harness, Intake manifold and Id deffinatly need help installing the distributer and the timing and such.
also Like Ive stated in a nother thread Im not looking for 1/4 mile power, but I do have a cam install kit and its prety much down to everything for a cam install, and If some one wants to help me pick a cam to install now AND help me do the valve springs,the reason I stoped installing the other cam and returned it... PM me please Im not saying any date because I dont have the wiring harness yet or anything else.. I also need to borrow A timing sprocket puller a torch and fireproof gloves Im poor cause Im doing a t5 swap..:lol: |
Did you already spend more then $1 on a T5 swap? :rolleyes:

A T5 is a POS. Don't waste the time. Plus you realize the 700R4 warranty is probably not transferrable.

TT I got the wiring, Id need help soldering a bit, if any one has a soldering iron..
I also have ordered the cam, said it takes around two weeks, so maybe second saturday of october? |

actually any one that has a degree kit, ill give you some money if you can come over and show me how to degree it..

why would you swap a 700r4 for a t5? you realize they never put them behind the L98 because they could not handle the torque...
|
t5 = broken 3rd gear... then the rest follow suit

forget about the t5 swap, even if i did it a lt1 t56 would be swapped in eventually..
cam is in, but not the lifter because i wasnt sure if they should be in before/while its going to be degreed.. |

no, i don't know how acurate these numbers are on the TGO tech data, but in 87, the l98 was rated at 225hp. In 92, the G92 LB9 was rated at 230 ..... Interesting .... |
