Don't waste your time on a chip, be a real man and get a tune.

3.73's with an Eaton posi is a decent setup, but the rest of that stuff really won't make you that much faster. Might I suggest you research the TransGo shift kit vs. the B&M Transpak...

i agree. i ran a transgo in my 86 iroc and im running one in my 90 right now.

I had a B&M Transpak in my 76, but that was a TH-350...completely different animal.

though i suppose i should add im running a B&M Shift+ in my ZR2. quite a nifty little gadget. its like having 3 shift kits at the flip of a switch.

What do you have done to the car as of right now?

jin1481 09-26-2006 01:43 PM

moroso intake, flowmaster exhaust, bilstien shocks, bfg kdw2 tires, 18 by 9.5 rims

Tru2Chevy 09-26-2006 02:54 PM

I would do headers and a Y-pipe, along with the gears/posi. Then get it all tuned. That should get you the little bit of extra grunt that you are looking for.

Suspension mods should be coming too. Torque arm, tubular LCAs, and subframe connectors.

i think i may have twisted some stuff too' the first time i got on my car with the new wheels and rubber i broke my tranny mounts while i was goin to ocean city nj and had to drive it all the way back.

do 3:73s, a set of headers, a tune, some SFCs, lower control arms, and have some fun! I have pretty much everything you have plus what you stated, and it was alot of fun to drive.
