Does anybody in the area have a decent compression tester?
 

The 396 is missing a little after some spirited driving on Sunday and I suspect a valve problem. I went to do a compression test yesterday and found out my compression tester won't fit into the tapered seat plugs on the heads on the engine(1971 oval port heads). So I need a compression tester for the narrower thread design and the threaded portion will need to be pretty deep just get in far enough to engage the threads. If somebody has one I can borrow, let me know. Thanks!

Mine uses a hose. That should work.

Then I would need to borrow you to hold the hose! :shock: Man, that just sounds so wrong! :laugh:

Never mind guys, I found an old one of my dad's that worked fine.
