Oh yeah, I did see something cool today...

I went to a shop in Pa to straighten out my control arm probs, and I saw a WILD machine they are building: a 2 dr 1961 Chevy Suburban. They are building it pro-touring style: 18 inch wheels, 13.5 Baer brakes all around, a 40 gal fuel cell, totally reconfigured suspension, and a Ramjet 502 under the hood. The customer is gonna use it to tow his motorcycle trailer, so the project is being called "Pro Tow." They even have it engraved on the dash and wheel center caps. And yeah, I know this thread is useless w/o picts, but I just wanted to post something positive for a change...

I went to Marcus' shop; Savitske Classic & Custom. It is only about an hour away from me, and a pretty pleasant drive. :) Those boys do some AWESOME work. Marcus got a kick out of my AMC fetish, and I may line him up w/ some work in the future. :)
