extra gas in cyls waskes down the rings and the engine goes boom. after the really cool boom, the engine doesn't rev good anymore.
the solution, tell him it sounds the coolest if he just floors it and holds it there for about a minute. some time around the 30 second mark the neighbors, mr valve and mrs piston, will become romantically involved and run away from the rest of the motor through the side of the block taking the nosey old mr connecting rod with them.
then you won't ever have to hear him mindlessly reving the engine again.

I say after about 40 seconds just drop it down into gear while keeping the foot to the floor...

Negative. I doubt he's ever dropped his car on a jack and/or saute'd green beans over an engine still attached to the chassis of his car

Knipps 11-08-2006 01:38 AM

kid racer wats some specs on the car in ur avatar?

Kid Racer 11-08-2006 06:55 PM

maroman88 hey i have a 305 tpi with a posi slip rear and a set of 3:73 in it..

V 11-08-2006 07:03 PM

posi slip?

Kid Racer 11-08-2006 07:40 PM

posi slip... its not stright posi...so say u were doing a donut the inside tire would spend slower or faster then the out side tire...but in a stright line they both spend the same....it was desigend too keep from braking the rear...stright posi spends at the same speed and all.....so there for when u do trick and stuff ur iner tire is spening the same as the out side witch isnt good..

V 11-08-2006 07:41 PM

posi-traction aka limited slip
spooled rears keep them the same all the time

Kid Racer 11-08-2006 07:44 PM

no it doesnt...stright posi does that...posi slip keeps them spening at two different rates
