anyone need parts from 88 GTA? gauging interest

ok, so i'm gettin this 88 GTA with no title..its a 350tpi hardtop black with grey interior and power everything (seats included)...i dont know anything about the drivetrain yet so i cant answer spacifics besides yes its a 350tpi and auto..i'd assume it probably has a 3.27 9bolt disc rear but dont even know that 100% for sure yet
heres some pics (yes i took em quite awhile ago..but car looks exactly the same) http://firebirdformula.net/gta

Edit: i'd also consider selling it whole as is for a decent offer

how much do you want for the TPI setup with the harness?

ted gerlach 11-19-2006 07:06 AM

interested in the rear if its a 9-bolt with those gears, also interested in the gta badges you have in black

maroman88 11-19-2006 08:56 AM

looks like a pretty nice car... whys it sittin there?

dan 11-19-2006 09:15 AM

loooooong story, but the short of it is..thats an impound owned by some friends, theres issues with the state in getting a title..and i've spent the last few yrs trying to get them to sell it to me anyway...finally convinced em about a year ago..maybe lil more..but now i dont have any cars that i need hte parts for anymore..so i'll just hafta part it out to make my $ back out of it

Can you find out whats happening with that other firebird in the background?

WayFast84 11-19-2006 11:24 AM

is that an aftermarket cold air?

Can I get better pics of the plastics?

dan 11-19-2006 01:01 PM

i didnt see anything aftermarket on the car..the wheels and seats arent original....but other then that everything seems bone ass stock..i'll know more when i get it home though like i said
the firebird in the bg is a car they're going to part out, i considered picking it up too but its rough through and through..so i decided not to..its an 87-90 and i havent a clue what motor is in it or anything...its actually sitting right next to the GTA now..

not too bad of a find.
BTW, that alternator isnt stock lol

dan 11-19-2006 03:37 PM

neither are hte plug wires..but you know what i mean :-p

V 11-19-2006 03:41 PM

lol i didnt mean it like that, i just meant someone rigged up a later style alt. the serp drive setups dont have adjusters like that

dan 11-19-2006 04:42 PM

hell..yanno i never even noticed that!, i have correct stuff still from my 89 formula i parted out though..so thats no big deal

BonzoHansen 11-19-2006 05:27 PM

Too bad about the title, car looks like it is in one piece and half decent shape.

dan 11-19-2006 08:54 PM

indeed, with a tuneup, steering column and some new tires ...prolly lil brake work only bc its been sitting :(

Oddball 12-25-2006 09:17 PM

Do you have the interior pieces that cover where the rear seat belts sit? I am thinking of adding rear shoulder belts to my 86 and would need grey interior pieces.

karr95 12-28-2006 08:40 AM

If you are still parting this car out, I am interested in the taillights (all 3 pieces) and the rear seats. Please let me know if they are available and how much you would want.

Thanks!
