Thats ****ing awesome! Go cop! :D

deadtrend1 11-23-2006 12:38 PM

I wonder if they can find out who it is ..... i say let it go and focus on some other things

WayFast84 11-23-2006 12:40 PM

why do they make it sound so dramatic and talk so fast in the video? Crappy reporters.

Who says its a cop? some one could have jumped in a cop car, or made a replica.

How do you know he was racing? the video was kind of crappy, Maybe some one pulled out a gun and he floored it to get away.

JerzLT1 11-23-2006 12:47 PM

maybe they should focus on the fact that there have been enough people killed in philly this year for there to be one every day.... and thats from homicides not street racing.... other then that... go cop!

johnjzjz 11-23-2006 01:03 PM

Maybe i am wrong but the car sounded ( if it was the car ) like it was a stick shift and the last time i looked cop car are automatic ?????? - jz

98tadriver 11-24-2006 07:49 AM

i think he was racing what sounded like a wrx. i could tell by the distinct exhaust note of the boxer engine

johnjzjz 11-24-2006 07:57 AM

i dont know if it were a WRX we would have seen the tail lights in the distance hahahahahaahahahahah -- jz

Ya know, theres something fishy about this situation. Ive spend ALOT of time over there on the street racing scene... at the FIST sign of a cop, EVERYONE bolts, and I mean EVERYONE. Im curious as to why noone left when this cop first showed up... something doesent add up.

yeah, so far only 5 deaths have been attributed to street racing. i guess they aren't as important as everyone else though.
street racing is illegal, cops are around to help prevent and solve crimes, so prevention and prosecution of street racers would fall under their jurisdiction.
with 3 tracsk easily with in an hour of any part of philly, there is really no excuse for doing it on public roads.

tell the tracks to stay open realllllly late 7 days a week lol..... Yeaaaa okkkkk,,,,they wonder why we go to the streets....

Sphinx 11-24-2006 02:11 PM

Maybe someone bought a used police car with the stickers still on it haha. who knows.. if not a cop needed to get out some stress.. or maybe he was getting paid, some ricers wanted to see how fast there cars were to a real cruiser.. owell. Was funny either way

yeah, it is tough only having tracks open 6 out of the 7 days of the week for most of the year.
people go to the streets because they want to, not out of necessity. don't try to make it sound like everyone is being forced onto public roads jsut because they wanna race.

chevyt454 11-24-2006 04:01 PM

Theres a cop around here with a wicked impala SS. If you pull beside him he'll take you on. Cops are car guys too!

maroman88 11-24-2006 05:51 PM

yup a cop friend of mine had an 02 SS then a supercharged harley F150 pickup, now a silverado ss and hes lookin at a vette. he tells me about racing on the highway all the time lol

Teds89IROC 11-24-2006 06:33 PM

 "if that car spun the other way, it could have injured people!" So can a car that blows a tire, or hits a patch of ice. I understand that's all accidental and doing a burnout or a donut is by choice..but hearing that kind of stuff makes me laugh

Dark_Knight7096 11-26-2006 05:29 PM

They left out the answer to the most important question of all:

Did the cop win?

OneFast383 11-26-2006 05:36 PM

damn
